Apply for the Founding Cohort
Thank you for your interest in The Young Playwright. Because this is a small, live cohort, every student completes a short application before enrollment. This helps ensure the course is a good fit and allows me to get to know each student before we begin.
This application should take approximately 5–7 minutes to complete.
Commitments & Community
Before You Apply
The Young Playwright is a live, interactive course. Students should plan to attend the weekly live classes whenever possible, complete writing assignments between sessions, and participate respectfully in discussions and feedback.
Students who attend consistently will get the most from the experience.
Live Class Recordings
Because this is the Founding Cohort, live classes may be recorded and used in future versions of the curriculum. Student questions and voices may be included in recordings.
Separate written permission will be requested before any student video or identifiable likeness is used.
About Oil & Ink
Oil & Ink approaches storytelling from a Christian worldview. Students of any background are welcome.
At the conclusion of each live class, students may choose to remain for an optional discussion exploring faith, creativity, and storytelling together.
